Pop star Lady Gaga has made an unusual association - she has become the "creative director and inventor of specialty products" for instant-photography brand Polaroid. The collaboration was announced at the Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas, where the 'Poker Face' hitmaker is scheduled to appear in person on Thursday, The Wall Street Journal reported.
"The Haus of Gaga has been developing prototypes in the vein of fashion /technology /photography innovation - blending the iconic history of Polaroid and instant film with the digital era and we are excited to collaborate on these ventures with the Polaroid brand," the 23-year-old singer said in a statement. "Lifestyle, music, art, fashion: I am so excited to extend myself behind the scenes as a designer and to - as my father puts it - finally, have a real job," she added.
The campaign with Gaga, who is said to be a fan of Polaroid, will apparently see her feature in the company's marketing campaigns and social networking channels. In turn, Polaroid is expected to be a presence at her concerts.
