Sam's clash for the top!

Sam Worthington may still be the new-hunk-on-the-Hollywood-block, but the smashing success of Avatar has ensured that Australia’s newest export to film world is not new to fame or recognition.

And now the actor’s all charged up with his mega budget fantasy adventure Clash of the Titans, presented by Warner Bros Pictures that releases today. The film may be based on mythology, but the actor insists that, “the film is no lesson in history, rather it’s a joyride.”

Pushed into super-stardom post Avatar, Sam’s not the one to let success go to his head, in fact, he laughs off his star status. So how did a struggling actor from Australia manage to bag one biggie after another? “That’s because I am cheap! I come at a lower price than any other Hollywood actor,” he laughs. The actor who’s hot on the Hollywood marquee also harbours Bollywood dreams and says, “I’d love to do a Bollywood film. I did watch Lagaan and I think Aamir Khan was awesome in it. It will be great to share screen space with him some day.”
