Musician John Mayer thinks his ex-girlfriend Katy Perry is extremely driven about her career.
The 'Who You Love' hitmaker, who split from the singer last month, also praised her work ethic, reported Contactmusic.
"It is a connection to the past, a reaction to fear of the unknown.
They go back with a guy they don't like just because they know how to
get to his bathroom in the dark," he said.
The 36-year-old star, who had an on-and-off relationship with Perry
from 2012, went on to gush about the 'Dark Horse' singer, who is in
Sydney, Australia promoting her upcoming Prismatic world tour.
"She's extremely driven and extremely serious about doing great work," he added.
Perry, 29, was preciously marriage to Russell Brand and ended the wedlock after 14 months.
